Is Arthur's Seat hard to climb?
It's a real small mountain (251m) but with paths for every level. The direct route from Holyrood takes 30–45 minutes up; the gentler route via Salisbury Crags is longer but easier. Wear proper shoes — the summit rocks are polished smooth and slippery. Sunrise from the top is an Edinburgh essential.
